Our Refund and Return Policy
At Playful golden pet, we are committed to responsible breeding, puppy health, and customer satisfaction. Because puppies are living animals, our policy balances buyer protection with the welfare of the puppies. All sales are subject to this policy and the terms in your purchase contract.
1. No General Returns or “Change of Mind” Refunds
Puppies cannot be returned simply because you changed your mind, the puppy doesn’t fit your lifestyle, or for behavioral issues that arise from training/environment after purchase
We strongly encourage thorough research before purchasing.
2. Health-Related Refunds and Guarantees
We provide a 14-day health guarantee from the date of pickup/delivery:
• If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a serious congenital or hereditary health condition that significantly affects the puppy’s quality of life within 14 days, you may choose one of the following:
• Full refund upon return of the puppy (in good condition, with all veterinary records).
• Replacement with another available puppy of equal value.
• Reimbursement of reasonable veterinary expenses (up to the purchase price), while keeping the puppy.
Requirements for Health Claims:
• Written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian within 14 days.
• Return the puppy with all original documentation, vaccination records, and in clean, healthy condition (except for the diagnosed issue).
• Notify us immediately via email with supporting documents
After 14 days, we offer no monetary refunds but will always accept the puppy back for rehoming if you can no longer care for it
3. Deposits and Cancellations
• Deposits are partially refundable if canceled at least 14 days before the scheduled pickup date (minus any incurred costs such as preparation or testing).
• Deposits become non-refundable within 14 days of pickup or if you fail to complete the purchase without valid health reasons.
• No refunds for customized packages (e.g., microchipping, extra vaccinations) once paid.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally non-refundable:
• Shipping/delivery fees
• Grooming, training starter kits, or accessories
• Any services already provided (e.g., health certificates)
5. Rehoming / Return Assistance (No Refund)
If you can no longer keep your puppy (for any reason after the 14-day period), we will gladly take the puppy back and help rehome it responsibly.
In this case:
• No refund will be issued.
• You are responsible for transportation costs back to our store
• The puppy must be returned in good health with current vaccinations and records.
We prioritize the puppy’s welfare and may require proof of care before acceptance.
6. How to Request a Refund or Return
1. Contact us via our email address within the applicable timeframe.
2. Provide your Reservation ID / Order Number and supporting documents.
3. Await approval before returning the puppy.
4. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
7. Exceptions and Limitations
• This policy does not cover issues resulting from neglect, abuse, improper diet, accidents, or lack of veterinary care.
• Refunds are void if the puppy has been sold, transferred, or rehomed to a third party.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone abusing this policy.
